ahh i miss nationals even though it just ended on fri (at least for us). i miss going out there each time as a team playing our best and trying to constantly think of smart ways to beat our opponents. i must say it has been a ride! and i do feel very sorry for cj cause there are good players there but i guess they lost to the lobbers the same way we did. it's sad what they write on their blogs though (i mean the lobsters)
well anyway im hoping for friendlies to keep the momentum of match playing going! i dont know if i should join spex again since it's the last time i can join the junior one. mwaahahah im 18 already. and i so want to go back once for spex training! i miss playing with everyone there although i heard there are many new people there already. but still, coach nigel's there and the cat high boys are too. they've been playing so well for inter-schools cause they're in the finals! really hope they win =) ahhhh what to do what to do.. tennis always perks me up =D
i should really put in more effort to catch up on work though. less time on the com (and on spider solitaire) and more time with people and work =) anyway this week's mostly a break from tennis except for a nationals debrief on wed but im going for string practices again! =D=D hope it'll be fun cause im playing with them for some performance this thu at the esplanade =) i think it's some free thing where anyone can go see or something so do come if you can :D ahahah so many smileys
another week of school, but im going to be strong =) i really pray jac's fever goes down soon. drink more water and no literature when you're burning please! and to fio, be courageous and smile! text me or give me a call whenever you feel like it k =D

i've been playing tennis every day for the past week! national schools tournament has started too and we've played against vj and cj. im still proud of the team even though we didnt get what we hoped for, and im so so happy that i've been playing so much better than usual. maybe because i've been playing against the strongest players of both schools which make me really want to hustle for every ball. let's all do even better this week, giving our opponents the hardest time! that was my mindset for the match against vanessa boey =) really helped a lot. heard there are quite a few strong singles for the next school, but nahhh it can't be worse than playing against the 2nd seeded in singapore right hahahha
my mind's really into tennis now. lol cant help it even during lessons! my thoughts just drift off to my matches. i think i'd still want to play in uni (if i can ever make it into the team hahaha). yi rong!! go to nus lah, then we can play together again =)
ahhh i know i've got so much work this weekend! i better stay focused and pray =) just like my matches. prayer helps so much! thanks joyce for praying with me halfway through my match. really strengthened my mind to play so much better. it was when i was 6-1 down and then it became 7-6!
ok anyway i'll be going to auntie cynthia's house to study with fiona and jac later! =)

i dont know what to feel sometimes. as much as i try to remain positive, optimistic, wanting to fight and hustle, it all seems so futile and i lose it all. after that i'd think it over and wish i didnt feel that way, but it would soon come back. how many times must i remind myself or be reminded that i have the ability to fight? i pray so dearly for strength, wisdom, courage, determination each time i play, but it's my lack of trust in the Lord that pulls me down yet again. how can i ever get out of this rollercoaster ride?
time will tell me
